Our Founder

Emergence Pathways was founded by Delilah DiMambro, a gender and sexuality counselor and fourth-generation Granite Stater. Alongside her 9-5 work in nonprofit education initiatives, she manages Emergence Pathways with the support of her wife and several assistants.

Delilah and her wife are in the process of relocating to the Netherlands under the Dutch-American Friendship Treaty (DAFT) visa, with plans to settle long-term and eventually gain permanent residency.

Their decision to leave the US was shaped by the realities of gun violence, transphobia, and institutionalized discrimination against transgender people at every level. They believe they can better support their community from a location where their own safety and well-being are not in constant question.

The United States will always remain one of our primary audiences — but we hope that a move to the Netherlands will bring our resources to a wider international community while also offering both women a safer, more peaceful private life.
