At Emergence Pathways, our mission extends beyond our own retreats and workshops. We believe that our most impactful work happens when our tools and expertise are placed directly in the hands of the community leaders and organizations who know their people best.
The Community Access Grant is our commitment to turning that belief into action. This non-monetary grant program provides grassroots organizations and under-resourced groups with direct, barrier-free access to our core educational resources—so you can focus on serving your community, not on fundraising for materials.
What Our Grants Include
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. If selected, we will work with your organization to design a resource package tailored to your specific community’s needs and goals.
Grant awards may include:

Material & curriculum license
Access our full digital library of workshop outlines, facilitator example scripts, handouts, and worksheets. Use them to run your own support groups, educational sessions, or training programs.

Facilitated workshop series
Bring our founder, Delilah, or a trained facilitator directly into your community (virtually or in-person where feasible). We’ll lead 1-3 workshops on topics of your choice, handling all curriculum, materials, and facilitation.

“Train-the-trainer” partnership
Empower your team with our knowledge. Receive a curriculum license plus dedicated coaching sessions for your staff or volunteers. We’ll teach you how to facilitate our workshops, building your internal capacity for lasting impact.
Value of services
Each grant award can represent between $5,000 – $25,000+ in equivalent services and intellectual property. Award dependent on applicant details, available resources, and numerous other factors.
Is Your Organization Eligible?
We are seeking partners who are deeply embedded in their communities and face real barriers to accessing high-quality, LGBTQ+ affirming educational content.
Ideal applicants:
- Community-based: Serving LGBTQ+ individuals, with a focus on rural, BIPOC, trans/nonbinary, or otherwise underserved groups.
- Resource-constrained: Operating with limited budgets where paying for premium curricula or facilitation training is not feasible.
- Action-oriented: Have a clear plan for how our specific resources will address a current need or opportunity (e.g., starting a new support group, training volunteers, educating families).
- Aligned in values: Committed to creating spaces of affirmation, curiosity, and psychological safety.
Eligible entities include:
- Registered 501(c)(3) non-profits.
- Municipal libraries, community centers, and other community outreach programs.
- Higher education institution student groups and LGBTQ+ centers.
- Crowd-funded projects and unincorporated community collectives.
- Established mutual aid groups.
- Individual community organizers with a demonstrated track record.

What we ask in return:
This is not intended as a passive donation. We seek engaged partners who will help us ensure these resources make a real difference. Grantees commit to:
- A designated point of contact and backup contact for ease of communication and coordination.
- Actively promoting the materials to their community via traditional marketing strategies, physical media, and/or social media.
- Participating in brief feedback calls to help us improve our programs.
- Allow us to use your organization’s name, logo, and provided feedback in future promotional materials.
- Respecting the intellectual property and labor embedded in the resources, using them as agreed for non-commercial community programming.
Application Process & Timeline
Review dates: We accept and review applications on a rolling basis and as resources allow.
Applicants are notified of the panel’s decision within 4 weeks of their submission.
How to apply:
The application is designed to be simple and respectful of your time. You will be asked to provide:
- Basic organization/contact information.
- A short video answering a handful of prompts, focusing on what communities you serve and how you would use the materials.

Our Commitment
We manage this program with the same principles we bring to all our programs: integrity, transparency, and a deep respect for community building. A diverse review panel made up of experienced community organizers evaluates all applications. We build a custom resource package for each winner because your community’s needs are unique.
