Emergence Pathways empowers queer and questioning adults, the people who embrace them, and the organizations that serve them — through workshops, retreats, and group programs available directly to individuals and in partnership with universities, organizations, and faith communities who want to bring meaningful LGBTQ+ programming and resources to their communities.
We never lead participants toward any particular identity, feeling, or outcome. Our role is to provide tools and space for reflection and self-understanding. Where you arrive — or don’t — is entirely your own.
Our approach centers around providing tools for reflection, creative exploration, and personal growth in a safe, affirming environment. We offer LGBTQ+ focused workshops, educational materials, and some of the only queer identity exploration retreats in the world.
Our model is built on sustainability and access.
This allows us to serve a wider community and keep essential resources as accessible as possible while keeping our mission viable. A portion of the proceeds from our retreat experiences go towards funding:

The term “phase” is often used negatively to dismiss someone’s exploration. We see it differently. A phase can be a vital and courageous part of growth – not a measure of failure. Whether something lasts a season or a lifetime, it is valid and worthy of respect. Our programs are designed to support people wherever they are, without pressure to arrive or remain at a fixed destination.
